You are how you Live, Think, and Feel!
You can take all the herbs and medicines in the world, and work with the finest doctors, but if you don’t get disciplined with your health you will be chronically stressed out and still won’t feel well. Improving some habits can yield significant improvements:
Hydrate - yes with water. Half your body weight is a good rule to follow. (130lbs, should drink 65oz of water a day)
Move Something - exercise or daily movement is NECESSARY (less pain, increased energy, improved cardiovascular health are a few benefits)
Sleep - Your body is in repair, detox, and balance mode when we sleep. 6-8 hours is good, although 7-8 is better.
Connect with nature- sunlight and fresh air or being near a natural water source will do wonders for the body
Cook more or eat whole foods - and less factory or fast foods
Meditate and/or pray - 15-30 minutes a day will help you feel calmer and make positive changes in the nervous system. Check out meditation videos on YouTube.
Breathe - practice intentional breathwork exercises. Helps minimize your usual fight or flight stress response and helps you to focus inward.
Practice gratitude and cultivate optimism - writing or reflecting on 1-2 good things that happen each day or things you are grateful for helps improve mental health.
